Night Time Brightness

So I have friends that play on my server and constantly talk about how dark it is at night. However on my game the night time is clear as day for me. What do I need to do to make it so night time seems like Night time again?

I changed my gamma a LONG time ago on ark, and I am not sure if that is what did it or what the normal gamma is.

Any help would be great thanks!

Press tab, type "gamma 2" hit enter

If the server allows for the gamma command, press tab type in gamma 3 for bright. Gamma 2.4 is the default brightness.

Yeah I've heard 2 is the default. I put it to 2. It seems a bit better now. I think i was on 3.

I believe the actual default gamma setting is 2.25, but it should be enough to type "gamma" to make the game correct the brightness back to the default setting
