Spawn location for a beginner on centre.

Hi.

Where's the best place to spawn in for a beginner on the new centre map. I'm guessing snow north or south not a good idea or the lava. TIA

Tropical South, but even that can be kind of dangerous. There are no real "safe zones" on Center like there are on the default map.

It's a pretty fun map though.

spawn in the woods you can hide behind trees :)

tropical south is a good island, you can make a base near the bay and not have to deal with many carnivores, mostly terror birds and dilos

I found it to be "safe" next to the bay on tropical south island. It's only been a few raptors and a carno around there so far. Keep your distance from the obelisk tho.

The tropical area have good beaches. There are many resources, though a bit thin.

You will find lots of dilos, raptors, bugs, and on some islands a few rex. So you have to be far more careful on center then on Island. But i am getting used to it.

I suggest building a small base raft for traveling until you find a spot you want to build.

Be wary of the volcano island the heat level can get so high you will hurt you.

The inner island areas can be busy with lots of aggressive mobs.

I have not been in the swamp yet, i just flew over it a few times. The swamp appears to be poorly designed, but just as dangerous as the island swamp. I say poorly designed because the only place to get plant x is the bushes with yellow flowers in the swamp, and from what i can see there are no places in the swamp with land, and thus no bushes. Until i get strong enough to go there i cannot be sure what the swamp is like.
