Items on transfer

So, my server is changing maps to The Center tomorrow, we're uploading our dino's to the obelisk and transferring character files over. My question is, do we get to keep any items we put on ourselves and our dino's or do we lose them all during a transfer?

We lost everything when we transfered to the Valhalla map. We had items on us AND on the dinos. No items transfered.

Items in your and the dino inventory will not transfer. You have to upload them to the ARK.

A good thing to do is have each person in the tribe go into their single player game, spawn in a couple of vaults and place them near an obelisk. Upload the items you want to transfer to the ARK and then log onto SP. Remove the items from the ARK and store them in the vaults. Keep doing that until you have all the items transferred.

Reverse the process to get the items back onto the new map.

I've currently an issue with having uploaded both dinos and items etc from Theisland map on single player and then switched over to the Center map and the items wont show up. If I go to other servers, the items do show up however so Im not quite sure what's going on except that perhaps the devs have not make the items/dino's linked/recognizable by the center's obelisks.

On the last Mod-Version of TheCenter-Map you couldn't download Dinos / Character regardless of your serversettings. So if this wasnt Fixed in the DLC-Version, you wont be able to Download anything...

Actually I just went to the official forums and this wont be necessary nor wise.

They're going to fix the issue in the next patch.

BUT

If you upload ANYTHING FROM the CENTER MAP and leave it in the obelisks to await the patch, it will be lost/purged.

It seems as I suspected that the Center map obelisk data center and that of TheIsland maps were different and they have to be integrated.

So anyone who has stuff uploaded FROM a CENTER map needs to get the stuff out of the obelisks else you're gonna lose it.
