Can a normal speed player outrun a giant crocodile?

I heard crocodiles/alligators/crocogators could run up to 25 mph on short bursts, which is faster than the average human, can you outrun giant crocs in this game?

Ya you can outrun the sarcos, I'd advise using the trees as means to block their path.

You can outrun them. Just get far enough from the water and you're good.
