Ankylo infinite farming on Quetzal Platform Saddle

Hi there,
just wanted to ask, if Is there any fix in progress regarding the add zero weight to quetzal, if the ankylo stands on top and farms resources? There are new tibes farming the hole map like this and building high end tier metal bases in 2 days...
Can anybody confirm this?

Its not broken. The devs are aware of it and do not consider it an exploit either from what I have read.

I imagine they are going to tweak carry weights for dinos... but the way it is, not really able to detect what weight they have on them vs when something it picked up I think

isn't their a limit on how much said ankylo can carry over the wieght limit?

The OP is misinformed. There is no 0 weight. What happens is the weight allowance of the Q is what the Anky winds up having. Mind you if the Anky falls off, or is dropped, then the animal is encumbered and can not move. The Limit is what the Q can hold and since you can easily transfer stuff from one animal to the other, there really is no reason to change this mechanic.

My assumption is the OP doesnt own a Q and doesnt know how the mechanic works. I hope this helps.

that should have been fixed ages ago from what i last recall it was but some reason its broken again

Unless they changed how quetzal carry weight works the total weight of all riders including the anklo is added to the quetzals total weight. Me and my friend before we stopped playing for a while would mine the volcano by having him drive the anklo and I pick up the anklo with the quetzal and I wold fly him into the ore until the quetzal reached its carrying capacity and I wold drop the anklo and bring home what we got. It is a clever use of game mechanics not a bug.

The weight of the stuff in the dino's inventory doesn't get added if it's standing on the platforms, but does if it's carried in claws

And that is what is called being a jack @##. Going off of memory the weight of the rider was always added to the quetzal. I plan on finding out for shure and if it is not the case then I plan on submitting a bug report like the OP should have done to begin with instead of posting this in general discussions.

The rider or a mob carried in the claws has their inventory weight added, but not if you stand on the platform (a set amount per dino/person is added instead... so even if X had 5k weight in it's inventory it would still count as 200 on the platform, but if the quetz tried to pick them up in the claws... it couldn't)
