any tactics to kill the megapithecus ?

I haven't tried it, but if you build a pen, then snatch it with a bird and drop it in the pen, I'm thinkin you'll prolly be successful.

What do you find confusing? You asked for a way to kill the beast. That is a way. You are aware of passive tames, yes?

So far the broodmother and megapithecus are terrifyingly hard to kill their arenas. The broodmother you need around 80 rockets from a ascendent rocket launcher, but for the megapithecus im not sure. I know the rock throw is supposed to do 10k dmg, so I'd suggest waiting intill they let us change the difficulty of the bosses (yes they confirmed you will be able to do this).

I know most of you are brave enough to play on servers but for me I killed both with 2 shots with a .50 caliber rifle with explosive rounds. (Single player of course)

get the annunaki genesis mod, there is something in that mod that will kill the bosses, suggest alpha rex's or giganto's.

Well saying to download a mod isnt really a answer. Its kill saying to look at it and type kill.

Lol I honestly don't know - doeds have a -80% dmg buff so maby breed an army of high health / 550+% melee dmg to tank front lines, use rockets from behind ? We haven't even attempted as currently the risk vs reward doesn't exist. Devs have stated that by release their will be boss level loot drops so when this happens I'll farm and breed for it, until then I'm grinding metal & pearls lolol

In another thread people mentioned that you can selectivily breed carnos and bears to have enough hp + dmg to kill the bosses

Last time I checked you cant take a dino with you to arena unless I am mistaking
So any breeding or get a high dino tactics are impossible
And by the way some one got a giga with admin commands LVL 1K and giga was defeated it in less than 4 mins
