How To Kill Sarco In ARK Survival Evolved?

A Lot of people have already said it, but it usually doesn't work... Im On A Hill Near The Beach, and all around me is an Ocean filled with sarcos, theres a lake with about 2-3 sarcos, and I can't take them on because im a level 6, I have not tamed any dinos yet but the sarcos don't destroy my house, because they won't come up the hill, but i always need water! And Sarcos are everywhere, so I can't get any, I don't really want to move house, any tips on how to defeat these horrible creatures?

If they don't come up the hill you could hit them with a slingshot from on top of the hill until its unconcious then kill it, i can't remember what level you need for that though.

Best way is to tame a turtle. Make a slingshot and gather stones. Aim for the head. Once you knocked it out, feed it berries, but make sure you got narcoberries ready as well as another type of berries to tame. Turtles doesnt take long to tame. Once you got your turtle tamed, send the turtle after the sarco to kill them. Turtles is your best early on defense creatures.

All you'll likely be able to do is run away from them until you have a bow or a decent dino of your own to fight them. Focus on staying alive and getting levels for now is probably your best choice.

Stay next to their hind leg, and attack them as they circle. Sarcos are pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Just make sure you have plenty of spears in case they break. Keep trying until you get the hang of it.

The turtle advice is great too. Those guys can watch your back, and they have a large health pool.
