I suspect the "saddle" in your inventory is the founders pack skin. You'll need to make a saddle if this is the case, as it is a skin, not a saddle.

You start with a saddle skin that makes an equipped saddle look cooler.

The actual Parasaur saddle can be learnt at lvl 10 with 9 engram points. Simple drop it in the parasaurs saddle slot after taming it.

Pro tip: Don't bother taming a parasaur. They're one of the most useless dinos in the game.

Well, you can tame them a bit later on for eggs for kibble later on if you want. Other than that, they are pretty much useless.

You can ride them, but there's really no point because they're not that fast and can't defend you, at least not at all effectively. I guess you could use them to carry items for you, but you might as well use a trike or stego for that.

Para's are good for low level players. They have decent speed(if you tame a high level) and can carry a decent amount of weight but as others have already said, they're pretty much useless.
Right at the start a parasaur is a good beast-of-burden for carrying things. Once you know your way around the game, you can tame a trike about the same point you can tame a parasaur; but when you're a genuine newbie, a trike is more challenging, and a parasaur can be very helpful at gathering materials to build with. Don't be discouraged by these folks dissing the parasaur. But, also, don't be too disappointed when you get a trike and never use that parasaur again.

Lol I had 3 trikes tamed and we went a fought a lot of dinasaurs haha. 1 of them died but it was a low level one. I had level 15, 8 and 2
