This gives you a very healthy boost in gather/harvesting speed.
If you go any higher, you ALWAYS get encumbered from one tree/rock etc..
A single greenhouse ceiling needs 35 Crystals and I got 29 by looting a whole cafe (which is 3-4 times flying into it, because my Ptera can't carry more) and that is already double the amount than vanilla..
Dude oh my gawd, you have the exact same game tag like the guy I'm playing Ark with. Rather creepy if you ask me.
Back to the topic: Doesn't a Multiplier of 5 sound a bit high? How many players are you playing with? Idk :/
Well said
I just thought that I'm doing something wrong, after all you don't usually have to set the harvest amount 5 times higher than vanilla in other games. Is this 'supposed' to be hours of farming?
Because then I'd totally up the Amount to at least 3.5!
It's not measured in hours. It's an exact multiple of whatever the base gather levels are for the said resource/said harvesting method.
So HarvestAmountMultiplier=2 would double the amount of any resource you gather.
A good way to test this is to pick up rocks from the ground. A 2X multiplier will give you two stone for every one you pick up.
