Wild dino stats calculcator
Hi folks

I am trying to understand this calculator - > http://www.survive-ark.com/ark-dino-stats-calculator/.

If one is looking for a dino with very high to max stats, does this mean that when you put points into the calc, pre-tame, that the % on the right hand side should be quite high for a single stat?

Enter the numbers into the corresponding line and it will tell you how many points an animal spent on each category. Quite handy for determining just how useful a dino is.

Ah ok, so lets say I am looking for a dino with high melee dmg, and I say get 20% in melee according top calc, then it wont be worth taming?

It'll actually tell you how many points a dino spent in each stat (that's the number in parantheses). I personally used this when I was looking for breeding candidates. The more points in a stat, the better. I think the most I've seen on a vanilla server in one stat was about 25 points.

There's 7 stats, each level up is randomly distributed between those. For a level 120 dino the average is just above 17. After tame, that is around 25. The rest is basically statistics - the distribution does not have to be average, though the probability for that is lower. 30 is relatively common in my dino list, the highest is 41 (in food, of course). If I subtract the about 8 levels a dino gains on average after taming, anything above 22 should be good, with 30+ being very good.

Ah ok thanks guys. So I guess with breeding one can eventually get a perfect dino so to speak
