Best Server For Noobs

Trying to find out which Server is best for those of us just starting out online.
I have been several of the official servers and get the same result. My place/buildup gets decimated by High Level Tribes.
Are thgier any servers actually geared to Beginners? Maybe where the online rule there might be No attacking players below a certain level (ie : a beginner blelow a certain level, etc).
It is making the game unlikable outside single player mode. And I like a game with other folk on it.....where maybe can build coalition - not a tribe as beginners....to help each other.

Not sure there is, you need to find a fresh server, which means a private one at that. If you manage to find anything let me know, Im looking at starting a fresh character on a fresh server.

well, I am currently running a VERY small server for my son to play, like to monitor his online activity but he enjoys meeting new people, so its a comprimise. low pop atm more or less direct family members with the occasional new person coming and going. plenty of opportunity and realestate, and plenty of time to build up so your not wiped immediately. PVP simply because at times people just need to be slapped around :) noob friendly. kid friendly, several mods geared twords structures (i simply enjoy building more than anything else) AND IT IS PUBLIC. Sometimes takes a bit to find it but its under the public unnofficial -

We have a no greif pvp server, heavily monitored, see web for more details dharmacorporation.com, Ive never really heard of anyone killing onsite for no reason. Typically lower levels are left alone unless you instatgated something ofc. We also have a community center with starter suppliess to help you get started. Friendly and helpful community. No mods just slightly increased rates 3x xp 4x tame.

We are a group of players that have been playing online games together for well over a decade. We really appreciate the game ARK and the developers, with roots in Battlfield franchise and Arma mods we enjoy good PVP, but we also appreciate that the game isn't where we would like it to be with balance. Also we understand the communities wants to not have to get brand new dinos everyday b/c your base got hit hard the night before, and every night previous to that. So we made our own server with some custom settings that we hope will help balance the game better.

50% Reduction in player Food & Water drain
50% Night time reduction(Gamma works)
50% Decreased Resource Despawn Radius

Highest Difficulty (level 120 Wild dinos)
Admin Logging=ON
100 Player Slots (subject to change based on community growth)
PVP Decay Timers=ON
Basically you mark 1 Safe base(Marked with White flag) for your tribe and it becomes off limits to anybody else, but outside of the Safe Base it is free-for-all PVP

Ya may have found a server by now but we'd love to have you here!!

My server is very oriented toward new and casual players, it is pvp, but most of our players are very laid back and rarely raid, very helpful and never mind helping tame new dinos or talk you through anything in the game!! My base in game is a sanctuary and open to new players who don't have a place to build yet. Please feel free to add me on steam to learn more about our players, server, and my partner and myself!!

The Savage Land is hosted by 2 very friendly, very active, very helpful admins, and one who's off busy with irl. We strive to give you guys the very best experience possible by taking your opinion into account whenever we do anything to the server!! We run on the Center map mod, and have mid-low rates. We're about a month since our last wipe, we have 3 main tribes, 1 admin tribe, and several solo players. Everyone is very nice and helpful, laid back pvp-wise and hardly raid, however even if you're raided you'll end up with everything back in the end if you ask! We don't allow killing of passive dinos and use ORP to help ensure those pesky raiders don't waste their time :D

**We're currently having a double exp weekend until Tuesday at Noon (CST) so it's a perfect time to join us!!
Rates are:
2.5x exp (currently 5x)
5x gather
10x tame/breeding. Interval is also lowered so you can breed more often! (Tame is currently at 100x! Nearly Instant Tame until Tuesday!)
(To accomodate our little event, max level dinos have been recolored and placed around the map for you to find and tame!!)

(Max level of wild dinos is 150, you gain 200 levels after tame, max level of 425 tamed dino)
(Max player level is 200 with plenty of engram points for everything, Personally I learned last of engrams at 160ish)
(Tameable Boas and Alphas, with bonus Mosas, Quetz, and Bigfoot alphas to tame!!)

Raid-able Community Bases
These are undefended bases created by Admins for anyone to raid. They may or may not have good loot/tame-able dinos.) These are to crave your thirst for raiding and are really fun to do!) Each Base has different defenses, and different loot.

Starter Packs

1 Level 40 pteranodon with saddle for new players being that the map is hugh to help you get around the map

Wood Pack (1-2 Tribe Members)
5 wood foundations, 10 Wood Walls, 1 Door+Frame, 5 Wood Ceilings, 1 Large Storage box.
1 Hatchet & Pickaxe, 1x Hide Armor Set, Bow & 20 arrows.

Stone Pack (Requires a minimum of 3 Tribe Members)
10 Stone Foundations, 20 Stone Walls, 1 Door+Frame, Trapdoor, Wood ladder 1 large storage box, 1 smithy and forge.
1 Metal Hatchet, Pick, Pike, and hide armor set (per person), 1 bow with 20 arrows.

Rules

Griefing and PvP Rules

Completely Wiping a player/tribe is NOT acceptable. Only with good reason are you permitted to destroy everything (anything that isn't loot, walls, floors, unlocked storage crates, etc.)
PvP is allowed at any time, however at least one member of the rival tribe has to be online for you to be able to raid them. Offline raiding is boring. Dropping loot during raid is also frowned upon.

No Cheating. Admins are always online, or always watching. If you're caught, you'll be permanently banned.

Abandoned Bases

Bases that have not been maintained for 2 weeks will be removed by an admin to reduce the amount of clutter on the server. Contacting an admin for more time is completely acceptable.

• Pillars, fundations and another constructions put on the map that dont belong to the main base are not allowed.
  
• The building at coordinates 50/50 is prohibited, if you do it anyway we will demolish all structures without warning
