Beer Barrel

Beer barrel isnt producing beer, even with the right amounts of bverries and thatch + water. its not irrigated tho.

Yeah 1000 units of water. Tho dunno if 10 ingame days is long enough? :P (on normal set time)

Strange.. I think beer only takes 6 hours.

Mine did something similar a few weeks back. I made one batch of beer, replaced the water with jars, filled it back up with berries and thatch, and... nothing. More than a week passed and all that happened was the berries rotted.

I had tried to connect it to my existing water lines at some point, so maybe that broke mine. So far the only work arounds I've heard of when they stop working is to demolish and replace them, preferably tied into an irrigation line.

We had our first batch of beer, i guess being away from bess doesnt help it, irrigation doesnt seem to be needed Anyways irrigation isnt possible, its impossible to put it trough existing walls no? anyways its a long way from the rivier to the top of the cliff, hard to build. xD

Beer barrels do not need to be irrigated to work.

- Waterskin or Canteen can not be placed into a Beer Barrel as a water source.
However Water Jars can be used as a water souce through remote use, filling 200 points out of 1000 points of water.

Might just have to delete it and make another. >.<

I just test it and still doesn't work. After how many years in early access and still haven't fixed yet. I have a building in the mountains and i need water for my beer. No matter what i do, it's not irrigated, i used pipes, a water jar to fill it up with remote use item, but what i know is that you must see bubbles above the beer barrel.
I used 40 thatch and 50 of any berries and it's full of water due to filling it by hand with a water jar but still no bubbles. Please devs.... fix this, it's been over a full year and still haven't fixed yet...

nothing to be fixed bcz it is not broken...
barrels does not need to be irrigated, you can use water jars
bubbles appear only when there is beer in the barrel
it takes long time but it does work

Well, if that's the case, i'll wait a bit. Maybe you are right about the bubbles tho, i am not sure. So i just placed a beer barrel and filled it with water by hand so it has 998 units of water and put in 40+ thatch and 50+ of every berrie (red, blue, yellow, and purple) so i got 200+ berries in it. Let's wait.... and see what happens :)

I think they must change it a bit so we know it's brewing. For example, show smaller bubbles when it's brewing and bigger ones when it's done. Kinda frustrating if you NOT know if it's doing something or not.

Wich berries did you use? afaik it's not working with narco,stim and mejo's.
The red ones I dunno, we used the blue and yellow ones oh, and it takes six rl hours for one unit beer to be brewed.

Yes i am aware of the six real life hours, and i use now 100 blue, 100 red, 100 yellow, and 100 purple ones with 200 thatch and i filled the barrel by hand with the water jar by pressing remote use item so the water meter now says 998/1000 so i should be good if it works.

But it works, i have now 1 beer. Thanks guys.
