Where are the Dire Bears?!?

Since the 20th i was head over heals to go find a dire bear but was unable to find the saddle for it or the manta two days after i was able to find it yet still no dire bears. I thought it might of been my mods of something. i used the command kill all wild dinos. i have even started a whole new non dedicated. i have only been able to find mantas. there are alot of phiomias but not a single Dire Bear. Can anyone offer assistance? Please let me know because im scared to make any more progress if the problem is my non dedicated server

I've take out the mods and everything but for some reason their still there. Did you check by the green obelisk, in the forest south of it, not the swamp. There's been like five.

I'm between west 2 to west 3 area, there are A LOT of them.

edit: to be more precise, south of where the ice place starts, near the waterfall, some on the beach and also on the forest.
They are also really strong... a level 8 took more than 15 narcotic arrows to fall asleep, meanwhile he almost destroyed the stone walls...

If your using a mod that changes or effects dino colours or spawns it may effect individual creature spawns we used to have the problem of the roos not spawning whilst using a colour mod but as per others here they are literally all over the place on our server im talking cant step like 10 feet without running into one on beaches forests mountains

My base is on the top of the Waterfall just east of the Green Obelisk, and there is a bear right outside my base every day. The first three days I tamed all three, and since I've just been harvesting them for meat along with everything else. But look around the Oby as well as by the swamp to the east of the big waterfall east of the Oby. They spawn there regularly on the Official Server that I'm on. So far I have a Black, Red, and a very cool White one.

first encounter today against a direbear while i was farming berries on my bronto ... it attacked the bronto ... a quick check of its lvl .. 112 CRAP raced back to base and grabbed a rex then ate it .. it did over 1500 dmg to the bronto before i killed it.

I wouldnt say OP BUT attacking a bronto?? they have balls!

Also clearing out the Dinos around the green Obelisk respawns several Dire bears.

I was about to post something similar to this. I have base the exact same spot and just wanna confirm that it's the same for me.

I play on a PVP Extinction server and there's just tons of bears in the bottom left corner of the map, on Cragg's Island. That's all the info I can offer besides the fact that they have pretty high torpor

Yea I took a high level saber did a kind of grid formation search then move to the next part. Thx for the help anyways!

Yea I was using the natural color mod combined with another color mod but I've taken them out as well as the natualwildlife
Mod out (which has every Dino have baby's all over the map) but I still c exotic colors and baby's for some reason I cnt reset it to get rid of those mods. Any suggestions?

Lmao your really making me jealous to not be seeing that lmao. I heard their amazing and I have to say having something else to be afraid of makes me try harder lol so far the giganoto is the only one Tht puts fear into me lol sounds like they might have a more updated AI than the current Dino's which will keep happening since the next update is brInging a Dino with a more advanced AI. They did this to help us more but I wonder wat these new Dino's could do to us when wild lol you sure got your fair share lol

Yea Ikr I just gave up and waiting for May 16 for all the new Dino's and everything to come to Xbox it's so worth it
