beds, bunks, and tribemates

I play on a lop population server. Had a bed in my base. Invited a person to my tribe. While I was logged off he changed the layout of the base including moving storage boxes and moving my bed. I haven't seen him since then.

At the time, I didn't think anything of it. I assume he just destroyed the old ones and made new ones. Then I got thinking maybe he actually MOVED my old bed because otherwise how could I still respawn there? I thought only bunkbeds were useable by tribemates as well as yourself. If so, how does one move furniture? Is it possible to move a full storage box?

You're thinking sleeping bags. Beds are useable by the whole tribe, bunk beds just have half cooldown. Sleeping bags are only useable by whoever placed them.

The obvious answer is your tribemate destroyed it, made another and put it where ever he wanted.

At one time I was in a tribe that had over 20 beds spread out over 3 bases. One person didn't make all of them.

Not a troll. The desription of the bunk says tribemates can use it. That made me think that tribemates can't use lower-tech beds. Also you know bunks are specifically designed for more than one person in the real world. I guess he renamed the new bed with the exact same name as the bed I originally put down. That's what made me think he might have moved my old bed somehow.

A Bed has 5 minute cooldown between uses. Bunk Bed respawn cooldown is halved. Thats 2.5 minutes. Sleeping bag is personal owned and will be destroyed upon use.

I believe that's me you're talking about. Yes I destroyed the existing beds and recreated them (plus an extra one) using the same name you were using :)

Still playing too, just been busy. My wife doesn't play anywhere near as much as me, you'll probably only see her in on weekends. :)
