To help clarify things for you:
Steam= a closed platform for those who purchased the game via steam.
PS4= Closed platform as well for those on the PS4 only.
Xbox= Universal Windows Platform which is a platform shared ---ONLY--- with the Microsoft Store's Win10UWP(Universal Windows Platform) PC version of the game(ie its a closed platform for MS purchased versions(be it xbox or the microsoft store).
In other words, each platform is a closed market unto itself because each market doesnt want to allow cross platforming.
pittyful because windows is banning ps4 and more game platforms you need to buy xbox if some thing sucks then it is xbox so be happy and play the game the way you like it and not the way windows wan't you to play it
