Crossplay ps4 and pc

Hello.

My friend has ark on ps4 but i have it on pc. I was wondering if there is crossplay. Some sites on the internet say there is other say there is not.
I hope there is because is way more fun with friends.
So is there crossplay ???

only cross-play I know of is Windows Store version for Win 10 and Xbone

Crossplay for ARK works only between the Windows Store Version of ARK and XBOX (since both Microsoft), PS4 and Steam PC Version are on their own individually...

no only on xbox, another reason to avoid the ps4-ps5.Better in fact if u just refund period.

none for ps4 . ever. i was an idiot also, who sadly bought it for ps4 thinking cross play..And for other games also..Sadly i did not invest pocket money for a xbox instead.Knowing this any product you think will cross play from pc to ps4 like ark dark n light ..atlas..avoid for that. all three are produced from the same company ..or sister company same ie.. crap diff pile.

i thought you could play together in a single player server. SO thats why i asked it. Btw can xbox 360 crossplay with pc??

To help clarify things for you:

Steam= a closed platform for those who purchased the game via steam.

PS4= Closed platform as well for those on the PS4 only.

Xbox= Universal Windows Platform which is a platform shared ---ONLY--- with the Microsoft Store's Win10UWP(Universal Windows Platform) PC version of the game(ie its a closed platform for MS purchased versions(be it xbox or the microsoft store).

In other words, each platform is a closed market unto itself because each market doesnt want to allow cross platforming.

pittyful because windows is banning ps4 and more game platforms you need to buy xbox if some thing sucks then it is xbox so be happy and play the game the way you like it and not the way windows wan't you to play it

I doubt it's Windows or Microsoft's fault if you want something to blame...Blame Sony.
