"Girlfriend Mode" server settings?
So, I have a gal that love Minecraft for the exploration and building. I'm trying to expand her into other survival games, and she loves Dinos, so this was an easy pick. Thing is, I know default server settings can be PRETTY harsh. She's not phenominal at gaming (I'm no 360 quick-scope uber h4x0r pro either) and want to know some custom settings that would allot us some challenge, but not get blasted by this games ability to...well...rape one's anus.

Any help out there for a good Girlfriend Mode setup?

Oh good god. There is nothing mysoginistic about this post, please don't try to defend someone you don't know. I'm a girl, don't ruin gaming for me because your trying to "protect" women. Anita Sarcisian is doing enough damage in her own.
you find nothing wrong with "Girlfriend mode"?! As a female, I find it offensive and that is all i am saying here... I'm not protecting anyone, just giving my opinion on the use of words here

"Girlfriend" mode couldn't sound more sexist and misogynist... Maybe "Noob" mode or "PVE" is more suited... words matter

That is so offensive! Newbs and noobs are two very different things. Words matter!

Also, as a girl, I agree to choice of words was a bit unfortunate. I personally strongly dislike multipliers and mods (because I'm a PvE carebear that just wants to hoard pretties and pet babies) but come on, it's a guy trying to make the game an enjoyable experience for his girlfriend. No reason to start hating on him for it.

Not hating on him - just his use of words - I made no comment on him.

Even his words can be taken two completely different ways. It's mighty convenient to pick the more offensive one, despite it being quite obvious he meant the other one.
"Girlfriend mode" clearly means "a game mode my girlfriend would enjoy" in this context, not "girls need a special mode to be handle the game."
Your words carry more intentional negativity than his ever did.

Some of you need to go sit in your safe place for a bit and re-think how thin skinned the world has become. People who are easily offended are the easiest to manipulate.

In this person's particular case, his girlfriend is clueless.. It's his situation.. he's not stereotyping all women as being in need of saving by a man.. lol Panties in a wad doesn't even begin to describe the laughable salt coming out of this thread.

Grow up. The world is cruel and unusual. "Girlfriend mode" is the least of your worries, I can assure you.

I respect your opinion. I feel that not knowing either of them we should not make judgments. For all we know this could be a running joke with them.

Whenever my sister and I get in a debate about who's memory is worse I always say Darkness 2. To outsiders, that makes no sense, but let me add context now, a long time ago my sister recommended a game called Darkness 2 citing that it had snake monsters in it. I bought the game later on her word alone then watched a short playthrough on it and decided it wasn't for me and had to return it. To his day she says she never recommended the game, I remember her doing so and she remembers no such thing. Now it makes sense, it could be something just like that.

Maybe - when one read's "girlfriend mode" in the title, it doesn't set me up well mentally to continue reading with an open mind. It all could have been said exactly the same without calling it "Girlfriend Mode" - my only point is that calling it that is ridiculous (if that is intentionally negative, so be it). We don't need to agree here and probably won't. I'm not bashing on him, or anyone else.

So they should be judged for something they probably just wrote as a joke without giving it a second though, but it's all fine and dandy for you to overthink it like your life depended on it?

As a girl, I'm gonna say this now: there's a lot of unfair treatment of women in history. There's still enough such treatments going on across the globe today, and yes, this absolutely needs to be improved on still. That said, if us women would stop acting like hysterical creatures unable of common sense or reasoning over every single thing that could sliiiightly be considered provocative when squinting real hard and looking at it from the corner of your eye, maybe it'd go a long way in proving to those that do need to be proven wrong, that we're actually not hysterical creatures and are quite capable of common sense and reasoning.
Please stop making my gender look like a whiny ♥♥♥♥♥.
Wah wah wah, the world isn't handling you with kiddy gloves.

I swear some people just look for excuses to whine.

Not judging anyone. Never did. Just saying that words matter and maybe that should cross your mind when you post things. You seem to be the hysterical one here.

I, agree with this. We are treated differently because we draw focus to the wrong things. If a girl came on here and said "I need a boyfriend mode" how many guys would take issue? And of those, how many would be laughed out of the forums?
Locking thread as this discussion has gone way off topic.
