Is there any such thing as a stat calculator for already tamed dinos?
I got someone trying to sell me a lvl 118 anky. Not sure if it has any levels left.

2171 hp
365 stamina
300 oxygen
7920 food
639 weight
235% damage
157.5% movement
2461 topor

They want 1,200 metal ingots for it. I got metal nodes right about my house so I already have almost 900. I was just wondering a few things, if there was a stat calculator for *tamed* dinos, if this anky's stats were good for it's level, and if anyone thinks it's worth 1,200 ingots?

I feel like that's a TON of points into food, but I don't know anythinh about ankys. The stamina looks good and weight great, but again, I know nothing about ankys.

Thanks.

You might as well just tame a high lvl one than to buy that. For anky's you really only care about melee and weight. Just enough weight that you won't have to constantly unload and rest in melee. You will quickly want one with much higher melee I fear. Also, if you can find a lvl 100+ to tame, it will more than likely have that much melee inherently, making it a much more promising and useful Dino.

Edit to answer your question: there is a dino stat calculator, but you need to know its' stats after tame, not after levels have been put on it.

I'm at a point where getting 1200 ingots is a lot easier than getting ~50 dilo kibble for an equivilent level wild tame. So, it's not a great anky (or is it even bad?), but is it not worth 1,200 ingots?

Thanks for the response.

they definitely pumped weight and maybe melee in that one. far more weight than anything though. the only star calculators out there are for wild allocation of points. the deal is all based on your personal situation. if it's harder to make kibble than get that metal, then I'd say it would be worth it. the anky will gather more metal or flint per node than you will by a good margin. either that or see if you can trade metal for kibble. either way I think you'll be fine with that trade

Well... since we know its torpor, and we know that torpor can't be buffed with exp levels, we can figure out how many levels have been spent. Its 118 right?

If I did the math right... that anky was around level 81-82 approximately, when it was finished taming out, and gained about 36-37 of its 63 exp levels already. The remaining levels are all exp levels. Meaning it was a low quality to start with. Probably around 55 in the wild if they kibble tamed it.

My opinion: That'd barely be worth 300 ingots.

I'm going to have to agree with Drunk Skunk. If you are wanting it for gathering metal, this anky wouldn't be worth that much ingot. They wasted points by putting them into movement speed. it couldn't have been too high to start with. You could easily have a better anky by taming a wild one that's level 50-70

Ankys need at least 400 melee dmg IMHO

They're saying it's hardly been leveled up, so should have a lot of levels left to go. Does that make any difference on the worth?

They were originally going to sell me the kibble for 25 ingots per kibble, but we couldn't find any ankys in a range I could afford so they offered to sell theirs.

Let me point you to that excerpt of what I said. They're lying through their teeth about "Hardly been leveled up", its already had 57% approximately, or the majority of its total levels it can attain through exp assigned.

It only has at most 27 levels it can attain that you can assign from here. Thats not a whole lot.

A 120 ankylo will take about 53 kibble (at 1x rates), if they're selling kibble at 25 ingots a kibble, a real rip off, thats 1325 ingots. You said they wanted 1200 ingots for the ankylo. It would only be another 125 ingots to kibble tame a perfectly leveled ankylo. I'd say go that route.

Reason I say that price is a ripoff is cause the kibble Ankylos like is Dilo egg kibble. Dilos are common as all get out. And A citronal, some cooked meat jerky, 2 mejoberries, 3 fiber and some water make a kibble.

1,200 ingots for that Anky? That's daylight robbery. You'd be better spending the time taming a load of dilos and getting the kibble to get a far better one of your own. Certainly don't pay that amount for it. 2 or 3 hundred at absolute most.

just look at the dino's XP. i don't have a calculator, but you can check how many times it has leveled up. my opinion: no anky is worth that many ingots. tame a few dilos and set up a kibble farm, i guarantee you'll be swimming in eggs after 2 days :)
