The ones that do show up are half random, half based on the server ranking. No really way to 'force' your server to be in the list
So hopefully when I put more ppl on it, it will show up eventually.
This will force the game to find the server you play on and add it to your favorites option ingame where you can change what servers you see. you can also see how many people are online and whos in it by right clicking the server and clicking view info.
I did not have the "SHOW PASSWORD PROTECTED:" item checked when searching for my server, so it didn't show up. If you set a password so you can just host a game for your friends, then make sure that is checked when searching the unofficial server list.
Yes there is.
In Steam to go Veiw > Servers then click on the favoirte tab. Then right click in the list then click "Add by IP address"
Your ark server will now be in your favoirtes tab in ark.
Thread is from Aug 2016 I am sure the Op figured it out even though someone had to necro the thread.
Necro yes, still a relevant topic though. I've been having this issue with our server for months, even walking people through the view > add ip. It just doesn't show up at all ingame until they can join the first time via find friends. Haven't been able to find why or how to fix it.
This is not forcing into the list it's adding it to your favorites.
It will not help getting it onto the main server list so if you have a server open to the public it will get no traffic because nobody knows it exists.
