How to tame a low level trike?
I heard it takes ages to train big dinos and I really hope that there is a way to speed it up, she's only a level two so how fast will the taming process go?

That all depends on whether your on an offical server or an unofficial server with boosts to taming etc applied to make it take less..and then that will depend on how much of a boost they put on as well. Could be anywhere from minutes nearly an hour for a level 2

Every taming stat you need to know about every animal.

If you wanna know how to get it unconsious and tame it then get about 2-5 tranq arrows and fire them at it but i you dont have arrows then get a slingshot and fire about 30 or more stones at it then feed it azul berries those are thier favs then wait a couple minutes for it to eat and also feed it some narcotic or narco berries if its unconius level starts to fall and you should be good Mate

get the app, you can input in settings unofficial server rates and have everything under your finger tip. Time, number of berries, narco, number of hit to knock it down, starving timer, feeding timer and other stuff too.

Actually any kind of berry will have about the same effectiveness and take the same amount of time, same goes for crops. You'll just use fewer mejoberries, but they restore more food so it'll eat them slower.

But yeah. Use tranq arrows, KO the thing, then just put stacks of berries in its inventory and check up on it every few minutes, feed it more narcs if its torpor gets too low. It's actually not too hard to tame, just takes time.

Narcotics act over time with a stackable duration, so feeding a trike 5 narcoberries all at once will give you 15 seconds of the torpor increasing instead of decreasing. That's how dinos with huge torpor recovery are kept sedated, you feed them a stack of like 50-100 narcotics at a time so you get a few minutes of not having to worry.

1 narcoberry gives you 3 seconds, while 1 narcotic gives you 8 seconds. Though, once oyu hit torpor cap, it starts dropping again, so try not to over-drug them.

If youre just starting out then Mojoberries and Narcoberries can do it, but I assume you've a mortar and pestle by the time you've a Trike saddle so you can use narcotics.

Kibble is best, veggies are second, mojoberries are third and other berries are forth.

:/

Taming with just Mejos over a mixture of berries will have a higher taming effectiveness. It won't be noticeable at low levels, but at higher ones, the dino will tame out at a higher level.

For a low level tame that doesn't matter. For a high level tame, if you care about effectiveness, you're using kibble anyway. You won't see any level gains for a low level with mejoberries anyway, though.

OP's concern was also with speed. All berries (and crops) are the same duration, roughly, the only thing faster for herbivores is kibble.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong.... it's okay to admit it... (People don't necessarily have kibble on hand, just because they are higher level, Mejoberries are EVERYWHERE)

Umm, you've just provided a link that proves him exactly right whilst telling him he's wrong. You made a mistake, it's ok to admit it...

This is a rediculos argument that you shouldn't be making.

If I'm on Herb Island, and I want to tame a level 30 Trike, for example, I may not have the carnos, carno eggs, or farm set up for kibble yet, but I may be willing to spend the hour and 52 minutes to tame it with berries.

It will gain two more levels with just Mejos, so why would I tame it with other berries?

OP's taming a level 2. It's not going to gain squat regardless.
