Imprinting - Is there a trick to taking baby for a walk?

I got this baby rex that just won't accept being taken for a walk. Walked around and around, flew on a mount with it on follow (went far away and back), took it off follow and back on again. Damn thing won't get the dummy off its head!

What do I do?

Update: I just picked it up with a Quetzal and it got the imprinting %. Geez, she's not fussy!

It seems that while walking game measures the distance between dino's starting point (where from it started to move) and current point. You can make the dino to move in circles for few minutes without any luck, but it's enough to make the dino to walk in a straight line and after some distance the % will be applied.
