Max Mods On a Custom Server?

I've been trying to figure out why my server has been crashing recently, Is there a max amount of mods you can add before the server just breaks?
I had 24, 16 of which were under 50mb (I figured since they were small, they wouldnt affect much).

Dedicated server from dedicated hosters, runs it fine. I just want to know if Ark as a game itself has a limit or something. Could I run 100 mods, as long as they dont clash?

i think theres one with litterally 200 mods

You are just asking for trouble.

At any time any new patch can break a mod.
The server will keep craching till you either remove the mod (Mods) or the mod (mods) is update by the mod creator.

Not at all. Been running a server since december. Once you learn what mods play nice and do not, and how your server behaves then its not a problem at all, and we run about 38 mods or so.

Its key to avoidi modders that do whack updates, like 2 a day - even 1 a day is too many for me in a week.

connecting to that Server takes as long as you needed to answer a question from 2016 ?

No, it is on my own computer. PVE, remember - I mentioned that above. Loading time, maybe 3 minutes or so for the entire game.

You might have them installed... you might even have them active.... you are not loading in, in 3 mins with 240mods.

Id believe you tho if you screen captured it.

Most mods are tiny, less than 2 MB. On one of my other threads here, I actually uploaded a screenshot of my mods folder when I removed and then renewed all my mod subscriptions. That thread was not about amount of mods, but about the long procedure to do this. My problem was, that one mod caused the game to crash.

Not for the sake of proving anything to anyone (I believe myself, and that is enough for me), but for making amazing ingame videos, I would liek to know, what the ways are to make ingame videos. What are the programs you can recommend, and what is the procedure? Thanks.

i have run 43 successfully, if somewhat slow in loading. It depends upon the mod, the age and the ram u have

Realy can use any screen capture/recording software.... then choose audio recording device in that software.

Thanks. Yes, there are many screen recorders. But which ones are the recommended ones, recommended not by their developers but by gamers?
