Tribe Alliances not working?

Anyone else having an issue with Tribe Alliances? I have made sure our ini shows that they are NOT disabled. Basically, we can enter a name, but then have no confirmation to click to finish the process. We have tried force verifying server files, as well as changing the setting just to make sure, and deleting it so it defaults. We are not sure what is going on. Any ideas?

You have ORP enabled. For some crazy reason Wildcard decided they needed to disable alliances when ORP is on. I can see zero reasons to do this, where they state it was too complex to implement.

No ORP'd base/tribe needs to be affected, nor even look up who is an ally, as when in ORP all turrets are disabled, as are pins.

Oh wow, so that explains it. We indeed have ORP on. So, I mean, I agree. I see no reason that this makes sense. How could it be exploited if bot hORP and Alliances were active? Hmm, curious, ty for the answer!
