I have made a post of survive the ark website in their bug section, but also here since a lot of people read this section.
Yes the gate works normal, but it is really annoying since we are placing the gate on top of metal ceilings. So far it seems only graphical, but extremely annoying.
That is very interesting. To be completely honest I never used the metal gate before because of the cost, however this doesn't seem like something the devs would put in since it glitches through the ground.
If this is indeed how it is suppose to be then my tribe will make due, however it is strange.
Only reason it bothers me is wr are building a metal tower and having the gates not line up makes it hard to seal all the holes in the side.
Edit: You can also snap gates to existing foundations. This is done by snapping fence foundations on the edges of the full foundations... place 1-2 foundations down where the gate is having issues, then snap fence foundations to their edges on the upper part of them, then continue snapping fence foundations for the rest of it on the ground and place your gate.
