Behemoth Gateway GLITCH: Behemoth Gate doesn't fit correctly in the Gateway
This is a PSA the behemoth gate doesn't fit correctly in the behemoth gateway. As you will see in the screen shots part of the behemoth gate snaps under the bottem of the behemoth gateway. This kinda sucks for us who are using this expensive gate in our builds. This problem happens no matter if it is freely placed or snapped to a fance foundation. Is it possible devs we could have this fixed ASAP?

Experiencing the same issue - hope the devs fix this!

Does it actually prevent the gate from working or is it a graphics only issue? If it is a graphics only issue, then it will likely not get fixed until the Beta bug sweeps. If it actually stops the gate from working, it should get fixed much sooner. Either way, it is a bug and should go in the Bug reporting forum. You may not always get a response in that forum, but they do write them down from there as I have seen stuff reported in that forum get fixed quickly if it is a major issue.

Metal behes have always had that part in the ground. It's probably because it isn't supposed to be as tall as the frame and moving it down was quicker than changing the model. The gate still works perfectly fine and doesn't cause any issues.

I have made a post of survive the ark website in their bug section, but also here since a lot of people read this section.

Yes the gate works normal, but it is really annoying since we are placing the gate on top of metal ceilings. So far it seems only graphical, but extremely annoying.

Im pretty sure its meant to be that way, to cover up any gaps below. The mod'd BH gate does the same thing

That is very interesting. To be completely honest I never used the metal gate before because of the cost, however this doesn't seem like something the devs would put in since it glitches through the ground.
If this is indeed how it is suppose to be then my tribe will make due, however it is strange.

yea, i'm pretty sure it's intended, i dont think it affects anything, i noticed it with my gates as well, but they seemed to work fine honestly, so i dont think anything was wrong with it.

Only reason it bothers me is wr are building a metal tower and having the gates not line up makes it hard to seal all the holes in the side.

Reminds me of what you get when you place a stone door in a metal gateway, a large gapeing hole underneath it... Did you ever try placeing the gate and gateway onto fence foundations? Doing this may help you align the gate to get it lower. (gate takes 8 fence foundations, and uses 7 1/2 )

Edit: You can also snap gates to existing foundations. This is done by snapping fence foundations on the edges of the full foundations... place 1-2 foundations down where the gate is having issues, then snap fence foundations to their edges on the upper part of them, then continue snapping fence foundations for the rest of it on the ground and place your gate.

This is driving me nuts. Metal or Tek Behemoths only... I have a weird gap at the top either way... I tried snapping to fences, etc... it is never lined up no matter where I put a behemoth. Stone works perfect every time, is this just the way it is rendered and not my doing?
