The Center- Cant tame arthropleura?

I got an arthropleura from the caves. It is the highest level cave so this is an arthropleura leveled above the normal server max. Despite that it should still be tameable. But it isnt.
I took it to a secluded place, it is not feeding, chasing, or attacking.
I walk close to it.
I get the press e to feed spoiled meat text.
I press e repeatedly and nothing happens. Just nothing. If I get too close it gets pissed off despite the bug repellant I and my bird have equipped.

Why cant you tame the deep cave critters?

It depends on the cave, some caves are considered special and have dinos above the max level (the snow biome cave on the island map is a good example), basically everything in these specific caves have their taming disabled because the animals are stronger then normal to kill players. If you got it from a normal cave, make sure your crouching/prone, have ghillee suit on, and then feed it.

You can't tame those creatures from the so called special caves, where the critters can go past max level... this is simmilar to swamp cave and such in vanilla The Island map!

Are u thinking about the new cave in redwood and center island ( the one under the ruins ) ??

You can tame the arthros from the other caves tho..

The others don't reach lvl 300 = they ain't fun ;)
