Is there any way to climb DOWN a ladder? I built one from my home on the tree platform to the ground in the event something happens and I need to get back back up (and we all know "something" will happen). The only option I can determine, in order to climb down, is to press "E" to jump. The end result of this action is death.

question # 2... Why can't I attach the rope ladder to the wooden one or anything else for that matter... it says it can be used to extend wooden ladders but I am unable to get a "snap point" on anything.

stand real close to the edge where the rope ladder is located and then the option to descent it appears in the form of pressing the E~Key

Where does it say it can be attached to a wooden ladder? It says it can be attached to other ladders but it never said anything about wood. More than likely it will only attach to other rope ladders.

Why would you troll me Shane and if I misunderstood your intentions, I apologize... but ...

Pressing E gives 2 options when you're not on the ladder.. Climb Up or Climb Down.. Pressing E while on a ladder is the "Jump" option. My questions are legitimate. Apparently you can read, so now go back to the books and work on your comprehension skills. (Ask yourself... How can I stand close to a ladder that I can't attach to anything?)

I can't attach it to the wood ceiling either Crimsondrac and albeit it doesn't specify "wooden ladders" it says .. can also be used to extend existing ladders.. a wooden ladder is still a ladder..

I figured out question # 1 .. Pressing and holding "S" climbs down the ladder... however, I am still unable to get a snap point on anything for the rope ladder
