License Expired?

I have close to 2000 Hrs played in Ark..Today I try to launch the game and get a message that my license has expired? I purchased the game like everyone else...When it was full price,how can my license be expired?

Why does your record on show 23 hours?

I know This is part of my problem..Yesterday it said I had 1700+ Hrs played. I have over 23hrs played in the past two days lol I'm wondering if maybe its a conflict with my family share because this seems about how many hrs i have played on the OTHER account I share with.

That is the message, License has expired...also when i go to launch options in my library next to ark in my library it says license expired.

There is no expiry date on your game license unless you seriously breach the EULA and I've never seen that happen in 30+ years.

Thanks for the responses but I have it figured out...not afraid to admit it was a complete DUR moment on my part...I was on the wrong account..apparently if you family share you have a limited license, you can only play so many hours. I was on the account i shared WITH not the one I purchased the game ON. Sorry for the bother but thank you for the responses, this community is amazing!

Actually family share has been disabled for ARK for quite some time already. You being able to play on an account without ARK is a result of "free weekend" promotion - hence the time limit.

Did you get caught cheating in a offical server? Prob why then.

I don't play official and havent ever played a single second on official so I might have been able to play on this account because of that or it could be because of the free weekend no idea.
