Can t pickup Stuff after death

as the tilte says i just can t pick up my stuff. So i fell of a cliff and when i came back to my body i cant access my dead body`s inventory.If someone can help me please? Am i the only one having this issue ?
BTW: i am on Single Player

You should have access to a wide variety of cheat codes and admin commands. I would recommend using "cheat ghost" to get right up next to the body, then you can probably access it. Then type "cheat walk" to get back on land.

This is an issue we encounter regularly!!
Might as well switch to hardcore, as it's almost the same you lose.

Ghost doesn't work.
Body can't be destroyed to prompt bag.

yep has happened to me on numerous occasions on official server also...... has been a very costly bug

If you're allowed to install mods you could try to use the "item cache gun". Worked on unaccessable item caches in singleplayer
