How to fish?

the update is awesome but i don´t get it how i can use the fishing rob
What is bait? How to craft?

put chair near water, get leech blood and fishing rod and out LMB

you need a chair, and bait is leech blood or sap

or you can use boat (raft) to put there bench or char for fishing

In another thread people were saying they couldn't fish on rafts even with a chair on it. Might be bugged?

raft fishing is indeed bugged atm it would seem.

chair probably has to go directly on a raft, not on a structure on a raft. I've seen alot of twitch videos and everyone that was fishing from a raft had the chairs right on the raft, none were on stuff built on a raft
