*Guide to merging tribes*

it may seem simple to some but hesitation is probably a factor in figuring this out and before doing I couldn't find a guide on how to so I'm writing one really quick;

#1 the way you merge a tribe into your is start with the parent tribe owner (thats the owner of the tribe who is the largest or the one to absorb the other) The parent tribe owner has to first send a regular tribe invite to the tribe owner that wishes to merge.

#2 after the plain invitation has been sent the meging tribe owner will have two options, one is to join tribe and is the top option *do not accept this invite as if you are the only memeber of your tribe it will leave every structure unowned that belonged to you even if tribe setting are set to personal owned* The other option will likely be on the right and with say the word 'Merge' select this option and everything should be absorbed into the tribe who sent the initial invitation.

#3 I include this step because I saw a youtube video where not all the tribemembers from the merging tribe were merged during the merger. If not all members make it thru the merger than is may be nessacery to repeat the merging process if there are any personally owned structures by that player. If there are only tribe owned structures and you have confirmed that all tribe owned structures are in the parent tribe then you don't need to merge just invite and accept.


I hope this helps somebody, I know I sure wish I had more to go on before personal owned auto guns opened fire on a spino and quetzal killing both before they could be shut off, also the guns were personal owned and were left unuseable and unable to be demolished by the owner.

So the merge tribe option still exists, but one owner has to invite to join tribe, and then the other when they accept it chooses merge tribe instead? Thank you!! it seems stupid but.. we have been having trouble with this... been wanting to merge tribes for ages...

yeah you got it abnd stupid is right, players risk losing everyrthing if the choose the wrong option. Used to be any admin could send a 'merge tribe invite' as a second option to 'invite tribe member' that way there was no chance of accidently accepting the wrong option.
