Bug Repellant messing with vision

It makes sense that because they can't make bug repellant actually screw with your sense of smell, that it should have some other downside, but messing with your vision in the way that it currently does isn't quite right. This screen shot was taken at my base at night, with the electric lights causing unreasonable glare.

dude if you have to turn off bloom to see with bug repellant its still a problem.

Yeah, but until they do a lot more optimizing, we're stuck with crap like that. It sucks, but if it works for now, so be it.

Wow, never used the bug repellant before but after seeing this, I think I'd rather deal with the bugs.

it's not as bad during daytime, but still fairly bad. The cloud is constantly shifting, so it blocks your vision one second, but not the next. Highly annoying, but maybe not quite as unplayable as this screenshot suggests. Definitely needs to be toned down a lot.

When was this a thing? Never ever saw bug repellent do this green effect.

That screenshot was taken a couple weeks ago. Thick clouds around your head. That's what the white stuff you can't see through is... cloud around your head.

Besides if you are using it to tame or other reasons there needs to be something that handicaps you. I think that is the perfect solution. I doubt it will get changed much as it has been part of the game for some time now. Learn to live with it.

LOL you are asking them to do something smart? LOL. They want they should use it and be able to walk amongst things with no ill effects. I have used it and had no issues what so ever but that was long ago. More than a few months at least. So chances are its his settings even though he will swear it can never be him. Like the rest of the whiners it has to be the game. Its always someone or something else with those people. They never take responsbiltiy for their actions.

Some handicap is reasonable. Reducing your vision to the point that you might as well be in a record-breaking blizzard where you can barely see your hand in front of your face is over the top.

Yeah try adjusting you settings properly and you know what you wont have issues. Oh wait I know whatever settings you want to use should be fine right. Wrong. It is on your side as that is a ingame thing and many have already said even myself we dont have those issues. So go figure out what you issue is and fix it. Then go fix the issue with you game while you are on a roll. LOL.
