Baby wants care
I haven't bred any babies since about december or january. Now I started a new game and the baby has the message above that says "want's care in 2hours and 45 minutes". Does something magically happen at that time that will let me do something it wants?

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I press "E" but there is nothing about care in that menu, so I am stumped.

Is there something else I should be doing to satisfy it's care needs before that timer runs out?

That is the new imprinting mechanic. As that timer reaches '0' the baby will ask for a random kibble (can be ANY kibble, not just their species favorite), cuddles (just hit e), a walk (have it follow you for a small distance), and probably a few others I haven't seen yet.

As I was not a very big breeder before, I decided to test out breeding with a pair of surprisingly nasty Phiomia I have (since they breed fast and I wouldn't care if it died). The baby started with 1760 health and 336% damage. After four imprints, it was up at 1980 health and 380% damage, without even spending any levels. I went to sleep and missed the final two imprints, and the final stats were 1840 health and 354% damage.

As the baby matured and I saddled and rode my new Aporkalypse out into the yard, I noticed it also had a new buff for me, and me alone, while I was riding it. This Teamwork buff increased damage by 10% and damage reduction by another 10%.

Thanks for the reply. I was worried something was wrong and that I had to do something before the timer ran out.

So now I just wait for the time to get close to running out and see what it wants? I can do that I think.. lol As long as it's not kibble...

kibble is one of them... others being cuddle or taking them for a walk
