How to deal with the tranquilizing animals in ark?

They're every where and almost every time I die is their fault. Is there any way to protect myself from their venom without improving fortitude?

Stimulants and stimberries early game, Riot gear late game.

I do as little on foot as possible, and only after clearing the area with a mount. After a certain point you only have to get off your mount in your base, or to fire a dart while taming before hopping right back on.

you can use stimberries and stimulants against snake and scorp venom too

The lesser antidote is for swamp fever, which you get from infected leeches in the swamp.
