The IntelHD kills it - but some people can run it on low memory, all low settings with the Intel Graphics, and if thats acceptable then you can still have a good time, especially PVE.
Intel graphics are just for the simple things on youre pc (showing user interface, The fact that u can see your desktop, without it u would only have a black screen), integrated graphic cards arent for gaming and even on the lowest settings it wont run well.. if u want to game on a pc invest in an extern graphics card (I would say at least a mid-end card if u want to have some graphics quality and too have it run smooth most of the time. Though the game isnt optimized yet..
But I never encourage people to play on lowest graphics and then still have a fps of 15 / 20.. unplayable in my opinion.
For many people 12-15FPS or 10-20 fps is completely fine since there is so much more to many games than frames per second. Ark is very enjoyable at 10FPS+.
The things that are most demanding for gaming are the graphics, and the graphics card needs proper cooling to work its magic, and due to space limitatiuons, that can't be done efficiently for a laptop.
Its a personal preference I absolutly agree, but then again I would never advise someone to play a game with 20 fps (ye maybe windows chess or solitaire (where 20 fps would be overkill lol)), even though if they dont mind. But really if people play this game PVE with 10 fps, what are they doing in game? standing still and only chatting. Ive experienced this game with around 5 to 10 fps and I'm sorry to say this but if I have to wait seconds for my screen to turn if i move my character then for me its a no go and time for an upgrade.
But no hate towards people who can accept it.
If you're not one of those people and whine about not having 60 fps you should have tons of fun. Just make sure when you launch it to select "Extremely Low Memory" and mess around with the graphics settings a little bit. You can probably get away with high textures and resolution without it hurting your fps much since I can.
It's not going to look as good as you might want it but if you're a low spec gamer like myself you'll be estatic. Plus you have better specs than I do so I'm pretty sure you can get away with a lot higher settings than I do.
But trust me when I say this: It will run. Don't listen to these people. I mean... do listen to their advice if you want to run it like the streamers or youtubers BUT you can run it. This is coming from someone who has logged in over 100 hours of playtime with no issues.
I agree that u dont need the minimum of 60fps and that u dont need to own a 4k screen etc., But a steady 30 fps with some graphic quality isn't too bad as an advice right? I try to explain what u can expect if u want to play with an integrated graphics card. The OP didnt told us if he wants good graphics or good performance or a mix of it? he didnt told us if he like to stutter around ,so trying to help for this kind of quesions is kinda hard since we dont know what his expactations are.
