Never heard of rafts being physically possible to move backwards. Maybe if there were engine propellers

Just so you know it is 100% possible to to sail a boat in the direction of the wind, you just have to tack back and forth over and over again. AKA zig-zag back and forth to move forward so you are not directly against the wind.
Because on a real sail boat if you try to go directly against the wind you will ACTUALLY go BACKWARD.

But sadly in Ark sorry you cannot go backwards on the raft.

Holy crap aggression! I did forget to reply and apologize. I later realized this is the case. Most boats I've been in didn't have an engine and I got my information from my grandmother who used to sail. Accept my apologies and correction that if the boat had an engine, it could probably go backwards, that said, it is a raft and thus, is directed by the wind. (Shawn, I didn't respond to your post because I didn't get a chance to listen to your video, but I'm going to assume it was aggressive, maybe a little understanding later in life, K?)

And I agree, we have sail rafts in this game... gonna have to give us a few paddles before anything be moving in reverse XD

Lol! after you said that I had to listen. My brother in law started singing boats and hoes! I was expecting worse. I'm 24 years old and live with a family that doesn't feel complete unless their making me feel uncomfortable, I've gotten over a lot of stuff.
