Tips on hunting down a 100+ rex?
Trying to get a male 100+ rex to breed with my 116 female. Been searching for a long time, highest level one i've fiund was level 68. I would like to get 100+ to get good stats when breeding. I went to almost all the mountain biomes, the central river, and even the redwoods. Can't find a decent leveled one.

Any tips?

Be a hunter of targets of opportunity. You won't find one until you aren't looking.

I know that's crap advice, but that's been my ark experience.

Kill a bunch of stuff to allow for new spawns.

The Dead Island or the Whitesky peaks is the easist place to find high level rexes

With the extension of the snow biome, I see a fair amount of rex patrolling the clearing between the volcano and the frozen fang.

The only valid option to etg a high lvl dino is to keep killing them off until it spawns.

i always wanted an spino, was looking for weeks, one day, i came home from nightshift, i made a short tour at about 7 am on the official server we used to play, and there she was :D a 116 spino female in wonderfull neutral colours, god thanks at around 11 am came a tribemate online and i was able to go to bed.

long story short, the good things happen when you dont expect them, but .... when life gives you lemons .... screw those lemons.

This, it's pure luck on what your find. There is no special place where high dinos spawns,.

Snow biome or Dead Island might be a bad place to tame, since all the other aggressive stuff might just come and eat you and the dino. And when it comes to high levle dinos, taming efficiency is key <3

Looked on the wiki and here, gonna seach all the recommended places.

i dont think there is a specific place to find high level rexes, but there are some good spots that spawn a good amount of Tyrannosaurus like the snow biome, dead island and around any mountain area. If you want to search for a high level one, my suggestion would be bring a bird with good amount of melee so that you can easily kill off those low level rexes in order for new (random level) one to spawn in. I am currently playing on an official server and have trying to breed a SUPER MEGA Rex, for that i am currently searching for high level Tyrannosaurus everyday. Normally, i see around 2 3 4 100+ everyday with some lucky days i found 3 120 Tyrannosaurus in the same mountain.

the river just south of volcano usually has a few rexes and spinos. There is an extremely large concentration of them in mountains/snow, as people have said, but they are also common among most of the rivers, where there are very few other predators that can/will kill them like sabers/wolves, making a successful tame much more likely. To reiterate:

the best place has to be death island, mostly because u can get alot of meat to tame it if u dont have kibble and rexs spawnn pretty frequently, just bring something strong to clear the island a few times and u will find one, how i got mine, plus free xp

I actually flew up and down this river multiple times, just because it's the closest place to my base to search.

Also yesterday in my 2 hour search I found a pair of 3 level 72 rexes. Found it odd how they were the same level, but just killed them all.

Thank god my argent has over 4k health and crazy melee otherwise it'd take forever.

I would take something in the 90s, but bear in mind, i'm trying to breed these 2, so I want a good outcome.
