The island, hidden base locations.

On my server it's a pretty friendly server, theres a single guy going around killing dino's with a pteranodon only and a lot of resources to break into large bases, the alpha tribe in the server and most players whog ot raided have been looking for him but can't find him. Any clue on really hidden spots, other than udnerwater caves or caves to begin with.

The solo raider we had on our server who kept hitting hard and yet we could not find, I found in the end has a few raft bases and was attacking from them. Base (on a rift) moved every night

Can change his tribe name at any time so his base unless you find it while you know he is attacking someone might normally be under a different name then you know.

Being that he is attacking the alpha tribe I gotta hand it to him and hope he continues his guerilla tactics without getting caught.

I can agree with you that his tactics and his base are great, as for him changing the tribe name it would be too obiouse, the server Im on doesn't get very many new players, maybe 1 new small tribe a weak which quits quickly.

Actually he was kicked from a tribe for wanting to raid too much, and then started killing dino's and destroying bases. He's a very powerfull and smart raider, but not really a "hero". He litterally said in global chat that he got bored to he killed every dino in my allies tribe.

Well what I'm thinking is his tribe name is tribe of Bob he sets up a camp does what he has to do staying out of people's way. When you pass his base it says tribe of Bob.

When he wants to raid he changes name to tribe of penguin does what he needs to makes his presence known in global so people see tribe of penguin.

After he is done switches back to tribe of Bob and logs or avoids people if you pass his base it says tribe of Bob unless you see it when he is raiding.

Use the new tripwire things and catch him if you can.

Last time we had a guy like this on our server he was operating out of someone else's base using their pin coded doors and turrets. The time before that it was a dude with an alternate account in a very powerful tribe. He would unclaim a dino for his other account in a small building outside his base, log on as the alt, cause some terror then return the bird and keep the spoils. He was even preying on his own tribe mates. He got caught and kicked, but still. I would look for pin locked doors and follow his steam id if you can. See who he is friends with if the account is public, if it's not check the steam ids of others on your server you might be a little suspicious of. Also, you can watch the official server listing and see when he's most active.

Have you checked all the icebergs and underwatercaves? There are some spots on the backside of icebergs that are quite hidden.

Could be housing his stuff in an "innocent" tribe's base. Could even be an alt account all together from someone in a strong tribe that got bored with typical ark politics. I'm pretty sure every big server has a few people who do that.

There is a spot in 45,72 i think where there is a lake under some spot u can build a base where it doesnt drop ur oxigen and u can walk underwater normally. Check that spot maybe hes hidding there. Pretty glitched because its underwater but it doesnt count as water, just as normal ground. Pretty hard to explain just get there and see how it looks like!

Already been checked, there was a vualt there which had his name on it, but was jsut the name of the vualt so it wouldn't show his tribe and all, it was a old vualt from ebfore he was kicked.

Tribe of Bob was just my example :) he can also have it makes so similar to another tribe no one notices

i used to ninja kills on the island, my best 2 tatics where:

make solo tribe, join allinace with bigger tribe and build my small base and then have them build one of their big structers over the top so its completly hidden. they supply me, i raid, we split loot.

OR make a black metal base in the lake thats east of swamp where u can breath underwater on the bottom, its murky so u cant see anything from the air and if u have no lights, its a great hiding spot.

It's possible that he has a raft beneath the actuall terrain that he has his base on. I dont know where his ptera could be, but, I would K out and check under the terrain.
