Baby Dodos Wont Take Food
Hey guys
So I know you are supposed to put berries on your baby dodo like as soon as they hatch, and I was able to get like 1 or 2 berries into his inventory but it would never transfer my large stack onto him and then he just died.. Ive had this happen a few times now and I really dont know why. Why won't the baby dodo take my berries from my inventory?

If Course You Can't Transfer a large Stack. It Can't Carry this much! You Need to Feed it a Bit until it can Carry a whole Stack

When baby dinos are young, they can only carry a tiny fraction of the weight that they normally would be able to carry. So you can only fit one or two berries on at a time. When they eat that, then you put more on. This requires constant attention and is quite labor intensive.

As the baby grows, the amount they can carry increases, so you can put bigger and bigger stacks of berries on at a time.

When the baby is 10% grown and turns into a Juvenile dino, it will be old enough to eat out of feeding troughs and you can stop hand-feeding it.

What Desertworld said. When they born thay cant carry so much berrys, 1-3, you need to keep give them berrys, but as time goes by they will be able to carry more and more berrys, and when they got to juvenile they can eat from the feeding box.

Is there any way to just place like one at a time into the inventory from a full stack? If so, I dont know how. Whats the best way of doing that? When I only had a large stack I tried using shift to split the stack and put smaller amounts in but it just took too much time. Whats the best way to do that?

Double click moves one item in a stack.
Also if you just drag the whole stack (no split, DO NOT HOLD SHIFT) then it will auto move as much of the stack that it can.

I just drag the whole stack and it will move over 5-12 pieces of meat to my raptor baby. (aka i drag a stack of 20 raw, and only 5-12 pieces appear on the baby raptor.) And the rest of my stack stays in my own inventory.

You can also hover your mouse pointer over the desired donor stack and press "T" This will also move as much of the item as the recipient inventory can take and leave the remainder in your inventory. Like above, no dragging required.
