Any building Tips, Tricks, or ideas?

Hey I am building a huge base that is 15 long by 24 wide base. Im trying to decide how I want each floor and where I want to set rooms. Id like to have a room for smelting, crafting, refrigeration, a library for supplies and extra gear, and any cool other ideas for a big base. I am building it in the North on the ice berg and would just appreciate some ideas or pictures and stuff like that for this base idea.

I tend to go minimalist for most needs. Unless you're playing on a server with no resource gathering boosts, you're not going to need alot of space for keeping stuff. Typically too 2-3 blueprint storage is all you'll need as well(unless playing a modded server with modified drops with other blueprints and the like).

You'll also not really keep alot of weapons or armor either so not much space for those storage things either.

Keep your electrical needing things as close to each other as possible so as to not need to run tons of wires everywhere. If you plan for example to run an incubation room with tons of ac for eggs, then place it in the room next to the generator so that they can share the samell/outlet. Similar for fridge etc.

For smelting crafting etc. I'd keep those inthe same room together and within turnaround or short step distance. If you build your base with the industrial forge in mind, then the space it takes is massive and will go several stories high. You can keep in central to your entire main building for the heat considerations but its impractical to keep it constantly imo.

When I think about someone making a typical base with breeding pairs of all relevant dinos, and all the crafting stations and storage considerations, your base space on the berg is going to be an issue, primarily for the dino considerations. However if you're just making a base for just a few and focusing on other things, then that berg will suit fine.

Just remember though bergs are a good source of kairuku organic polymer and used to be also for oil(though Im hearing reports either they've changed that or its bugged in regards to oil nodes on the bergs. Kairuku spawns I do know atm are low due to issues though.
