My Giga's health is dropping for no reason? o.O

Ok so I tamed a Giga brought it home and went about my day on ark. Hopped on him to farm some hide and meat only to see he had lost 5000 health. I have a feeding bin and it was stocked full and his hunger was totally full too so what the heck? Anyone else have this problem? Its only my Giga my rex and other dino's health are fine but the Gigas drops a tenth of a point every second. =/

Can Giga's even get leeches? I had one on passive follow the other day, walked straight through the swamp (Afked several times), trying, but never did get a leech.

use your command wheel to see if there's a leech on him and click remove

Like the others said leeches are the most probable reason, and yes they do get leeches attack, been there. Otherwise it is possible someone has popped off a few rockets at it trying to get it to rage.

Actually just thought of another possible that happened to me also. Check your logs to see if a tribemember was killed by said gigan. Some guys have a habit of not mentioning they raged the gigan with fall damage and put them back like nothing happened. Ok if there is food around but when they also leave them without food can come close to or end up dying.

It was a leech thanks for all the replies they helped, Ill be very careful going never swamps and mangroves now.
