Cheat engine and Battleye

Soo, i share my PC so i have Cheat engine installed, will Battleye automaticly ban me if it detects it even tho CE is NOT RUNNING?

Any advice would be very much appreciated as i dont want to not be able to play ark anymore :)

if you don't use it and it is not even started it should be fine. i probably have cheatengine installed on one of my harddives too and play on some servers that use battleye^^ just don't use it or any other tool that can be used for cheating while you play any online game.

If you have it on your computer then it is a Gamble.
As long as you don't have it running you are fine.

I have seen many people complaint they got a VAC Ban because of Cheat Engine.
They used it for something, then forgot it was running and joint a VAC protected Game.
Even tho they did not use it for that game it was still detected by VAC and they got banned.

So make sure it is not running when joining a VAC protected game.

and if someone uses it on something else that doesnt have to do with steam or ark, will it ban me then? cuz he still wants to use it sometimes
