but it was a nice idea
I'm not denying their usefulness for SoTF, nor official game servers at all.
I'm just wondering if they are supposed to get turret-mode or not, and if not, I suggest they do!
Turret mode seems a lot more useful for Dilos than the Arthropluera for two main reasons:
1. By the time a tribe is able to tame the Arthro, they will likely already have turrets. On the other hand, Dilos are early tamed and turret mode will still allow them to be viable for early-level defense, which is when a "turret mode" creature would actualy be most useful.
2. Dilos are small, narrow, and their head is slightly raised from the ground. This allows them to be placed easier, in more compact spaces, and fire from where they're placed with MUCH more of a range than the Arthro.
(Seriously, try setting up an Arthro in a spot to shoot in turret mode. It's a nightmare, and near useless unless they're shooting UP at something.)
That's too bad encumbering them doesn't work, but I was expecting that turning issue :( thanks for testing it!
