Do tranq dart guns work underwater?

Not sure, but I know crossbow works underwater and you can have tranq arrows

No, guns cannot fire underwater

Never have - never will... The only thing that works for knocking crap out underwater is the X-Bow.

However before too much longer there are some aquatic dino's that will be introduced to help with underwater taming.

tranq dart guns DO NOT work underwater for underwater tames you need to use the crossbow and tranq arrows unless you can be above the surface then you can shoot the creature with a tranq dart

Thanks for the info I ended up just using a crossbow. Almost killed it but it worked.
