How do you place rope ladders??

I get close to my tree platform and press the key that it is on, a message flashes up for 1/2 of a second that says no snap point, and no green outline appears to help me place it. Any advice?

prob needs attached to a foundation, the platform is basically like a dino saddle

maybe place a foundation first. my update is still running so cant try myself atm.
they are used like dino platform saddles. so first a foundation i would imagin.

I can't even place the tree platform because a little item is deciding to troll me and and not come up when I press the key to make it come up. Anyone know why it isn't even coming up as the green or red light indicating if I can place it? The icon glows blue for like half a second, as if bringing it out, but does nothing.

do you have Playersonly on? THat screwed it up for me

maybe you are to far away, i have that problem sometimes, try wierd angels :D

Do you have to be like touching the red wood tree? Does it work on all redwoods? My game crashed after forcetaming a Spino as it bit me (in my mess around save) so I need to reload my game before I can test.

Why can't i place a rope ladder on a wooden foundation? Only works on a stone foundation for me.
