Spyglass upgrade?

At Lv 74 the spyglass is starting to feel somewhat like old tech, how about adding some Binoculars? they could come with a wider range of view and maybe the option to zoom in and out. There could even be a 3rd tier that tells the dinos HPs or any status buffs or debuffs it has going on.

I dunno just seems weird that we are still rocking a bit of bamboo fixed up with string to spot our high level dinos!

A spyglass can see pretty much anything that can render on your screen. Even if they had a zoom function to see farther, the game doesnt render that far. Even on highest setting of view distance. But if that wasnt the case, i'd be all for binoculars.

I was just commenting yesterday on how nice this would be. A bigger field of view, and/or maybe instead of black around it, a blurred version of the surroundings so you can find your target. Rather than dino stat HUDs, I think a rangefinder would be useful and reasonable (especially if it calibrated to various weapon ranges).

The ability to Zoom out is what i would like not zoom in.......Hawthorn gets my problem.
i can never find the dino once the glass is up to my eye!

Binoculars have been confirmed to be in the tek teir and it will have a setting where you can see thermal vision.
