An Annoyance of Chinese Infiltration....

I play on an OCE server. We have a problem called "Argent Dawn". None of them speak a lick of English and are all primarily based in China. They have fake accounts and pretty much go around different servers, grouping up then wiping the server of every big tribe. They leave after the job is done, only to return when the server builds itself back up.

I am wondering how people go about finding a server to avoid this kind of ♥♥♥♥ around. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that after taming a rex for 3 hours, I come back from sleeping in my timezone to have my base completely destroyed. I cant go to work, sleep or have a social life if I would want to keep my base. Not that I could even if I threw my life away since there are like 20 of them and I have been solo in my tribe for a while now.


Does anyone know if Ark may enforce region rescrictions anytime in the future (even if its full release) so maybe some servers can be hidden from chinese/russian players. Or even Ark taking on volunteers of some regions (OCE, NA ,EUW etc.) to admin the people playing (not play cause that would be unfair) and remove people like that.

I know the point is to go to war and fight other tribes and ♥♥♥♥... but I didnt even get a chance to counter attack. I was offline, everyone was, then they came in for the sneaky wipe with a Giga and a raft... ugh so unfair.

Ark devs won't do nothing about it, you are pretty much asking ark to do something about a bunch of people for not being able to speak english, aswell as having fun, wether that be trolling or playng casualy.

It SUCKS on a massive level that the idiots do that, and saddens me more that they waste their life doing so.. they aint breaking the ark rules, nor using any cheats by the sounds of it, so sadly nothing will come of it.

I would suggest changing to an unofficial, were the admins are active and prevent this kind of behaviour..

It's not a hacking issue, its just them rounding up any of their little friends and flooding a server to rush crafting. I heard stories of them pretty much bringing their friends in, giving them rocket launchers then having your base raided by 20 chinese wirh rpgs. It's not about hacks, it's about a complete disadvantage. Especially when they group simply to grief people.

If it goes like this, people will just stop playing altogether. Official servers will die off eventually thanks to griefers like this. And with no one to grief, hopefully the Chinese ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who infiltrate all these servers go too. I just wish that if you live in China, they had this kind of thing where it senses your location so they just hide all the other servers from you.

This isn't even being racist. I've checked them all from my old server and they're all from China.

Maybe it's time to let Ark go until this is dealt with, or until full release. Or maybe ♥♥♥♥ around in unofficials where there are admins who moderate this kind of stuff.

I don't think all the Chinese are bad, but it seems a lot of them like to grief. Grouping like this, wiping people who aren't prepared and making it impossible to do much unless you have a large group like theirs with complete focus and quite possibly no lives to protect what you make on that server.. it's a disadvantage.

I don't regret saying what I have said and I don't feel bad about it either, despite you trying to make me look like an idiot. I would just hope one day Official Servers get a little more control over it. This certain group is pretty much everywhere in OCE servers. They already claimed the new Centre Map servers and taken over most of the PVP ones, also making effort to block resource spawns so it's not exactly easy to fight back.

Oh and I wouldn't say ban their entire country. More like hide specific official server regions from them. But hey, whatever makes me look like an arsehole right? Cause I am not allowed to vent frustration on the forums, am I now? ;)

I dont understand, you roll on a PvP server to PvP but when PvP happens(albeit offline and/or online raid as im sure in this instance you are referring too it wouldnt matter if you are online or not) you complain about it?

Does it suck you got raided? Yes
Does it suck they had more people than you? Yes
Does being Chinese have anything to do with this issue? No

They are playing by the rules. They come into your server at lvl 1 just like you and everyone else. Even if one or two guys were there first to build up first do you have any idea how long of a process it is to outfit 20 new players with grenades and rpg's?

Ya know it really irks me that you people come on here and complain about a group of players who play and have fun and who are organized enough to start off from scratch and within 24 hours wipe a server.

Why dont you player PRO-active and maybe raid their base ahead of time or if you know they are moving to your server and see a influx of these players do something about it?

Why dont i see any threads being created about "American tribe wiped server"? Seriously stop being a racist and hating on a group of players that have different playstyles than you.

Now if you have proof these players are cheating and hacking then you can come on here and ♥♥♥♥♥. Just leave the Chinese part out of it because every nationality has a player base that cheats.

You want them to get control over what exactly? People playing the game? Stop them being better at the game than you are? Force them to go out and get 14 hour a day jobs so that they can't play longer than you?

It's funny how this post got more people bashing my opinion and frustrations, which might I mention I mostly vented here and really I knew Ark devs wouldn't do anything about it, then my post a while back about needing actual help with another issue (something about dinos actually vanishing. Not dying, just vanishing.)

You can call me stupid or whiner about this, but until you know what this precisely feels like, then I don't think you understand.

This was my first ever PvP, I came from PvE. I had thoughts it would be terrible, and expected the worst. I was almost proven right by some random guy trying to bash me with a stone pick when I first entered the server. I found my friend in the game, we started building and taming. The alpha tribe of the server said "This is a nice pvp, we wiped and still wipe several groups who look to start trouble." So we were pretty much on a PvPvE server where the only reason we were on it was because it was a little different then PvE.

Then the leader of the alpha tribe accidentally kills his 3rd gen ptera, so he quits. After that, everything went to ♥♥♥♥. AD started coming out of hiding. They were usually found, reported to alpha tribe and killed. With alpha tribe disbanded, they came out and suddenly there were always at least 5 online. We tried to go out farming stone and metal to increase defenses and almost died to them because of it. We tried to go to get a scope on their base, almost shot down. My tribe had no active members, only my friend an I (and he said he was only stopping by, since he plays other games now). What the hell can one person do against 20 organised people?

So I logged off, got raided by a Giga and a raft of theirs. Got mad, wanted to vent here. Maybe I'd find someone who had the same thing, and we could laugh about it and I could move on from this. Did find someone to relate to, unlike most of you who are just saying "Oh uh but that's racist" and "It's PvP, get over it". That server was a PvP but for a long time it was ran like a PvE. For a long time, we didn't have to nip the AD in the bud, alpha tribe liked taking care of it.

Anyway, this'll probably make you laugh at how naive I was or how stupid I am behaving now. Oh well, can't please them all. I'm unsubscribing from this forum, got better things to do then waste any more of my time replying. Can't believe I wasted my time up there trying to explain myself.
