Custom Sounds in Mods

Hi, Title says it all, I am curious if this is possible/if any mods have already utilized this features, as I would like to be able to use this feature on my server. I am not a mod developer myself, I am only wondering if this is already possible. Thanks!

There is a mod that i use that replaces most dino sounds with those from Jurassic Park, its quite good, as far as any other custom sound mods go, if this one exists, i'm sure there are more located in the workshop.

Theres another mod that adds sounds to waterfalls by a placeable item that cant be destroyed.
