Why is it rated M?

I was really looking forward to getting this game some time but I don't play any games with ratings above T, any particular reason why its such a high rating?

Cause there is blood and death Mature stuff.

cause your country decided to have a list of different ratings and this game fits more in the categorie of rating M instead of any other rating. (by the way you do realise that most countries have totally different "ratings" ? :P some games are recommended for people with the age of 6+ while in other countries the same games are for 16+)

I just found it odd because I play a game called theHunter: Primal that has guns and blood and dinosaurs and I'm completely okay playing it, it is rated T yet this game has the same thing and is rated higher?

EDIT: That game also has a PVP server option, while it isn't very intense or violent as far as I know in the PVP it is still rated T, although I never play PVP on it.

most likely because you have pvp here too and can kill other humans. no idea if you can do that in thehunter

Sigh, I was really hoping to get this game after seeing so many play it, it looked great, now I have to search for another game.

I am 14 currently, parents and also myself restrict me from getting games with an M rating, although I am okay with a bit of blood and killing dinosaurs doesn't bother me, it has an M rating and must be some reason it does so...

you are the only person (+ family) i ever heard about that actually listens to ratings given by the government.. i mean seriously most Counterstrike Global Offensive players are 8-10 year old russians that play this game while insulting anybody on russian with their pre-teen voices..

Hell, Oblivion is rated M (The game before Skyrim)

I REALLY can't see this as rated "M" . I mean except for a bit of blood and whole mating cycle (which at 14 i dare say you likely understand).. just don't see it.
