Custom base stats of dinos?!
From what I heard, on Dedicated servers, you can change the base stats of dinos; example, make a Diplodocus as strong as a raptor rather then deal 0 dmg. I am not talking about the perstatlevel multipliers or any of that. Like, how do you change the base stats without using a TC?

Would appreciate someone who knows how explaining to me, as the server I go on hates some of the "rediculous stuff" such as Diplodocus being weak af, Dire Bear being the strongest glass cannon imaginable and so forth. We resorted to disabling them from spawning and changing some perlevelstat multipliers to try and get things right, yet it is still pretty messed up.

Any help appreciated~

Well someone on a previous thread I made mentioned that their server owner had amanged to give Diplodocus attack power roughly equivilent to a raptor on their server. So I assume it is possible. I have yet to see a command on any site though...

i dont know the exact words but yes it is possible as i have notice there is 2 options , tamed dino (stat) and then tamed dino (stat) affinity , which one is which i dont know but should work :)

Hope this help :)

ok if there's a way without moding then I'd like to know too!

That is without moding, it's in server config menu

The base damage is 0, these just adjust the scaling of said base damage.

As of right now I don't believe you can do this. Only thing I can thing of is the damage multiplier.
DinoClassDamageMultipliers=(ClassName="Diplodocus_Character_BP_C",Multiplier=1)
Increasing the multiplier might increase its damage. But honestly... it's base it 0.

Sadly, that is not what I mean. I mean on a dino-specific, base stat modifier. I am not talking about modifying the base amount gained per level or the % of any given stat that a creature gains after being tamed with max affinity or the amount it starst by gainign when tamed.
Therefore;
perlevelstatmultiplier_player ,
perlevelstatmultiplier_dinowild ,
perlevelstatmultiplier_dinotamed ,
perlevelstatmultiplier_dinotamed_add ,
perlevelstatmultiplier_dinotamed_affinity

are all codes that are not useful for this situation.

The reason I made this post is because someone told me their server owner managed to make Diplodocus deal around 15 base damage WITHOUT using any TC's. So I am wondering if their is someone who knows how.

Ok from what I found is that the damage one works! I tested with a level 1 TerrorBird on a training dummy. My SP is bugged so the base melee% of all dinos is 125.8, and in theory a terror bird, which has 16 base damage at 125.8% would be 20dmg. With the settings I had, the level 1 terror bird was dishing out a clean 67dmg! I also had the resistance multipliers active, but I have yet to properly test them...

@Online - Is there a code for the other base stats? Like HP, weight, movement, stamina et cetera?

Wait nevermind these values are working very oddly. I had ankylosaurus at 250% dmg andan individual at 134% was dealing 201... Which makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense when the base damage is normally 50. 50*250%=125 and 134% of that is 167dmg... So you'd think these values make the creature stronger yet, I had a terror biord w/125.8% melee and had the multiplier at 500%, so naturally 16*500%=80 and then 125.8% of that is 100.64dmg... Yet the terror bird was dishing out 67 to 68 damage... So this method is unreliable or I may not understand it.

Is there anything wrong with the following codes?
DinoClassDamageMultipliers=(ClassName="Ankylo_Character_BP_C",Multiplier=2.5)
DinoClassDamageMultipliers=(ClassName="TerrorBird_Character_BP_C",Multiplier=5.0)

Not sure man i run a dedicated server so we're just given this "tamed dino health" 1
And changing the one to a 2 doubles the per lvl increase
Try the ark wiki for all the codes

These codes are not on the wiki... They are generally used in Primitive servers. And once again, as it seems you did not notice, I am not talking about those codes. I am talking about ones that increase a given stat on a per-creature basis. Example: I want to make Dire Bear deal 25dmg, but I do not want Raptor to do 8, so I make raptor deal 50. The codes I tried modify on a per-creature basis, not just a simple increase per level difference. As I showed in my calcs, a Terror Bird, at 125.8% melee would normally deal around 20dmg. But mine dealt 67 due to my modifications. Capiche?
