How to pick up wild dinos on Pteranodon

i know it is right click to pick up but i cant seem to pick up any wild dinos i am trying on dodo and compy to test but fly over and over right clicking but nothing

I can pick up tamed ones easy

Hi there. On official pve server you cant pick wild dinos, only tamed ones. And dont forget, ptera can only pick small dinos.

I worked out I could pick up tame ones, I read on the wiki that you could pick up small dinos just there was no mention about servers

Its to prevent abuse from some players, that grab wild dinos and put them on others bases to kill the others players dinos, thats why this was blocked on official pve server.

On unofficial PVE servers it defaults to off but can be turned on by a config setting.
