In real life is it safe to eat salmon skin?

you can if cooked crispy it is rather tastey.... but the skin has a high fat content so it contains more toxins since most bad stuff fish eat in the ocean ends up in their fat... if you dont eat it all teht ime you would eb fine... even better if its freshwater salmon from very clean waters...

meh grill the whole fish and try it then but you cant be sensetive about taste but it shouldt poison you no.. but some fishes has spikes that can hurt.. and u need a flu kinda like shot too heal it.

You sure can, I've eaten salmon skin plenty of times :D you also find it along with the bones in the canned stuff.

You absolutely can if you are in a pinch. There is no reason to if you are cooking it but if you are out in the wild hurting for food and you are able to catch a salmon you can eat it raw right out of the river (as long as you remove the guts).

Ok thanks for the replies, I've been looking on Google as well and like the 1st person to reply said, salmon from the sea can have chemicals in it, same with fish farm fish as well, they have chemicals added to the water to kill parasites and fungus which can get into the skin. So fresh caught non-farmed salmon is the best.
